Power of Prayers

Prayer: Lord. Speak to me today; Your servant is listening. My heart is open, and my ears are ready to hear You today. Give me the power to not only hear You but also obey You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Morning Verse: MARK 11:24 – “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Here we see a powerful statement in this verse, No bounds exist in prayer. God is able to do anything, anytime, anywhere. He is who He says He is, and He can do what He says He can do. There is no one like Him. There are no bounds on your requests to God. He will hear you about anything and will answer you with yes, no, or wait. But the fact is he will answer you.

Whatever the answer is, He does so by His will and not ours. While He is impressed with your dependence and faith to call upon him, He always goes by His Word and always does what is best for you.

Trusting in the Lord while you pray is essential to effective praying. Your trust means that you cast your cares upon Him, leaving all in His hands and trusting that He will do what is best for you.

While we live life on the ground in the midst of the challenges, He sees all from His place beside the Father. He sees tomorrow, while we live today, He sees next year, while we live this month. He sees eternity, while we live on this earth. This is why we must trust Him at all times, receiving His answers to our prayers with a confident heart.

So, in summery, the longer I and you live, the more you and I know we can trust Him. Thank God He has not given me everything I have requested through the years; otherwise, I would be in one bad deal after another.

While years ago I struggled with myself when I did not get my way, But Today I trust Him through it all. No one knows what is best for me more than Jesus. The same is true for you, Trust him always in everything.

AMEN.
